He never ceases to amaze me, Colin asked me how to write his name earlier this month. So, I sat down and showed him on lined sentence strips what to do. Before I gave him the paper and pencil we practiced several times in a tray filled with salt. He used the eraser end of the pencil to practice writing each letter. Low and behold after only 3 or 4 tries he had it figured out. I then gave him the pencil and paper (which I drew and line across the middle as a guide) and he was very successful. I'll have to make a copy of one to share with you all. His Meemers (my mom) visited and wanted to send it home with her. He was so proud, as he should be. Yet another milestone achieved and another sign that my baby boy is growing up.

Writing First Name
