Pumpkin Picking Time!

We had a wonderful day at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. We tried a new place this year called Incredible Acres. They had a huge red barn filled with baby animals the kids could hold and touch. After all the kids saw the baby cow, goats, chicks, bunnies, ducks, sheep, ponies and piglets we went over to the get our wheel barrow and each pick out a pumpkin. The family rule: If you can hold it, you can have it. I think Colin pushes the envelope! Luke and Ava loved just running free, touching and rolling every pumpkin in sight. We loaded the car up with all 5 of our pumpkins and then the kids headed over to the hay stacked maze and fort. We ended the afternoon with a tractor ride. The kids loved that. Colin wanted to go again and again. They were all sad to leave. (Max giving Colin and ride in the wheel barrow.)

(Can she lift it? God love her she tried. NEXT!!)

(Can he lift it? Oh, yes he can!!)

(Colin and daddy petting the baby goats.)

(Mommy and kids after the tractor ride.)

(More baby goats.) (Ava loved the piglets, she did not want to leave them. She tried to carry the little black.)

(Luke watches his big brother holding a baby chick. They were so soft.)

(I loved this calf, her big brown eyes were so sweet.

I could use a cow with how much milk my crew drinks.)

We loved our day and it was just the outing we needed to kick off this fall season. We brought our pumpkins home and got out the scarecrows and autumn decor. My favorite time of year. I love the brisk morning air and all the changing colors. I feel some hot chocolate, Max's roaring fire and a movie night coming.

Wow! That is too much sweetness! Getting an early start on my cavities this year. Thanks for sharing. I cannot believe how big they are. Is makes my heart ache when I think how long we have been apart. Hopefully soon we can all be together.

Love ya Sis'
