It's always amazing to me where our year went and how fast it goes by. I pause and think of all that was accomplished (and that long list that wasn't) and how much our children have grown. We rang in the New Year with our very good friends and their children. We always have a great time together. Even the kids partied hard into the new year with pots and pans, sparklers and fireworks. We went into 2009 with a big bang, literally. You'll see that Luke and Ava had more excitement than they could handle. So onwards and upwards we'll kick off 2009 with our first project (that we never got around to last year)...building a new fence in the back yard. Who new I would be excited about this, but I am. Almost like a new pair of shoes and we all know how much I love those. I'll post before and after pictures when it's finished. My husband, his friend Tony and my mom's boyfriend Jeff will be helping. I'll supply them with ample amounts of food and beer. Then it's onto tax time yippeee. It's actually kind of sick, I like doing them. The best part of our new year will be welcoming my dad home at the beginning of February. It will be almost 5 months since he left. We are so very excited to give him a big hug, we might not let go. I'm sure 2009 will bring in many more exciting times for our family. The twins turn 2, Colin turns 5 and starts Kindergarten (I'm not sure about this yet, the jury is out) and many camping trips are ahead. From Our family to yours we wish you a blessed and Happy New Year!
