According to Colin they have been practicing their table manners for this special day. The kids came marching into the social hall with their hands behind their backs. One at a time they came to their moms and presented us with a flower they had made. Again, my heart melts and I couldn't be more proud. He sat next to me and served me fresh fruit and muffins. What a little gentlemen I have. After we ate all the kids stood in front of the room and sang several sweet songs they had been practicing. One sung to the tune of BINGO:
"I love her and she loves me
and Mommy is her name-O
M-o-m-m-y, M-o-m-m-y, M-o-m-m-y
and Mommy is her name-O.
They each grabbed a wrapped gift off the counter and brought it to the table. Inside the purple painted paper was a book mark with his picture and his written name along with a framed photo his teachers took. He was so proud. He was beaming. He kept telling me how much he loved me and did I love spending time with my little man. YES, YES, YES! It was just all to sweet. I think I have a tooth ache now. Our placemats were laminated hand and foot prints with the words to the poem and songs they sang. So many memories and so many keep sakes. I think this scrapbook entry might be a two pager.
