Kindergarten here he comes!!!

So, many might know that at the beginning of February I registered Colin for Kindergarten and began the process of an inter-district transfer to a different school. Well, I finally got the call Monday afternoon that Colin was accepted to our school of choice (Cooper). I am so excited. We went last night to the parent orientation. It looks like for now he is in the afternoon class. Not my first choice, but I won't complain. At least he is at the school we wanted. We met the three Kindergarten teachers and they all seemed wonderful. The principal seemed very nice. He encouraged all parents to sign up for the PTO. You now I'll join. He's such a little fish in a big pond now. There are a total of 900 kids that attend. Hopefully, the PTO will help keep me in the loop and involved in his program. A lot of new changes will be happening soon. Another new routine to get used to. For now, we have the summer to enjoy. Dad will be home this weekend, we are going camping father's day weekend, we have a great 4th of July weekend planned with a baseball game Friday night and party at my aunt's house on Saturday. Colin starts his T-ball team in July, hopefully another camping trip and then into August. We'll celebrate Colin's 5th birthday and then school begins on the 13th. Fun, busy times ahead. I'll keep you posted.
