Flag Day!

So, I took all five kids to the library this morning. They were having Flag Day. The children were invited to come and create their own flags outside in the courtyard. It was a beautiful day and the kids really enjoyed the experience. The children's librarian had rows of butcher paper out with tables of assembled paper flags and oodles of decorations from red and blue stripes, paper stars and a variety of di-cut shapes. After all the kids were finished they had a parade around the library grounds. It was very cute. They had an excellent turnout. Probably over 75 children attended. I am bummed though, my digital camera broke several months ago (thanks to a pretty little two year that will remain nameless), it was dropped and they don't bounce back. So Max, my generous hubby brought his digital camera from work. We'll needless to say it crapped out this last week. So, we have been doing all these fun things lately and I haven't been able to take pictures. I think we have it narrowed down to which camera we want to buy. Hopefully, this Friday so I don't miss out on 4th of July pictures.
