We took the kids to the State Fair a couple of weekends ago with Max's parents and sister. Our friends meet up with us later in the day. It was a beautiful day, in the low 90's. Better than last year when it was 102 in the shade. We stopped and had a late lunch before we left town. It helped with the kids not being hungry as soon as we got there. We checked out all the vendors first, then the animals and then the rides, by this time the sun was going down and we were'nt out in the sun. The kids loved the carosel ride and the giant slide.

They have really fun exhibits filled with all sorts of reptiles, bugs and a nursery full of pigs, cows and sheep that had just given birth or were due any time. We love seeing the babies.

A great picture of Aunt Molly with her niece and nephews. We loved spending the day with her.

We ended the day watching fireworks and listening to a country band. The kids danced and had a great time. We'll do it again next.
