Mackenzie

I just wanted to share that my niece Mackenzie is preparing for a big surgery the day before Thanksgiving. She was born with Microtia and Aural Atresia. She can't hear out of one ear. It has been a long journey for her to finally get to this point. My sister will be there and we are praying that her daddy will get a leave of absence from his tour in Afghanistan to be there with her. It will be a true blessing for Mackenzie to have the ability to hear in both ears. "Surround Sound" Kimberly says. Mackenzie with Kimberly's help has set up her own blog. It is so sweet. She wants to share her story and journey through this process. She has a beautiful heart and spirit. You can check her blog for updates as well as my sisters for more details of how she is doing. She has an important doctors appointment coming up this Thursday, October 8th. Please keep Mackenzie, Kimberly, Craig and Madison (her twin) in your thoughts and prayers. This Thanksgiving will hold a special purpose in there family, so please say your prayers.
Thanks,
Kristin
