Halloween 2009 at 49'er Village!

We took the kids camping the weekend before Halloween, just as we did last year and already have reservations for next year. This place rocks this time year.
It was an absolutely beautiful weekend. We left on a Thursday and stayed until Sunday. We went with the same group of friends as last year. It's become a tradition. We spent most of the weekend lounging around, playing games, enjoying the weather and great company.

Max and Sergio playing a game that I have forgotten the name of. On Friday night we celebrated Stella's 3rd (our friends daughter) birthday. Her mom (Christina) made cupcakes, which the kids loved. They got settled down for the night with a movie, while the adults played an exciting game of..
Beer Pong. We received a little warning the next day for excessive noise. Ooops! Saturday was the big Halloween event. We got the kids all dressed up for the Costume contest.
Colin the dirt bike rider (go figure) and Marcus a NASCAR driver looked great. Ready to race!

Luke was a cowboy riding his horse and Ava was sleeping beauty.

After all the children marched up on stage and shared their costumes the winners were announced. Luke came in 3rd place. He was so funny. Clapping and waving his hands at everyone in the audience. Not so shy, I was shocked. It was Ava who started crying. These two continue to amaze me.

This was Ava and the birthday girl Stella enjoying a very yummy cupcake. Stella still sporting her pink cheeks from her bumble bee costume.

Lilly was a Twister girl (so cute) with the rest of our gang. This is a wild bunch. They have a great time together.
One of the best parts about this weekend are all the decorations. Almost every RV decorates their rig to some degree. Many of them go all out. Some have thousands of dollars in decorations. This was just one of many. Silly me forgot to take a picture of our trailer. I'll remember next year. Everything about this weekend is so much fun. The kids came home with more candy than they new what to do with. Can't wait until next year.
