PEP Christmas Program 2010

I made Christmas cookies for Luke and Ava's Christmas program at school.

We were joined by my mom, GG and Papa Don and my dad.

What you will notice I am sad to say is that our little Ava is missing from this event. She came down with the stomach flu the day before and still wasn't well the day of the program. She was so upset to miss the event. Her clothes were all picked out and she had been practicing for weeks.
The show went on. Aunt Debi came over a watched Ava while I took all the kids to see Luke perform. He is front row left second in.

He did a wonderful job! I was very proud of him, I just wished Ava was there. Maybe next year.

After the program he presented me with a gift he had made (also one from Ava). Then, we headed to the social hall for refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus.

Noelle was with us as well, but she wasn't interested in Santa. We let Colin play hooky from school for a couple hours to watch the program and then Papa Jim, along with GG and Papa Don treated us to McDonald's for a special treat. Papa Jim took Colin back to school and we were headed back home to check on our little sicky girl.
