A little bit of this and a little bit of that...

Yesterday Luke was a little under the weather, so my dad took Colin and Ava to school for me and Wyatt and Luke relaxed in the sun reading books, playing puzzles

and Water Color Painting.

It was to bad my battery died because not to long after this the dark clouds rolled in with intense thunder and lightening along with hale that was snow like. That part didn't last long, but it was cool while it lasted. We were also lucky to get Ava's new desk unloaded before the weather changed. Several months ago my mom bought this desk and began the process of sanding and refinishing it. She painted it white and added new hardware. Several weeks ago she asked Ava if she would like it for her bedroom and my mom received and big YES! "I love it, it's soooo cute." And that she does. As soon as we brought it in Ava began loading the drawers with all her worldly treasures. This will surely be a place for her to draw and complete homework in the years to come. I can't wait to find the perfect table lamp and antique chair to accompany the desk. It makes her room look so grown up now. Thanks mom, Ava is tickled pink! I also finally finished the memory boxes for the kids. Each of the kids have two boxes. One is a Baby Memory Box and the other is a School Memory Box. I labeled each box with their names. Ava's are in her closet. The boys baby boxes are in their closet and their school boxes along with a boxes for Lego's and books/magazines fit perfectly under their bunk bed.

Clean, organized and a great way to make use

of the space under their bed.

Today is my slow day as I am usually a bit under the weather because of the medication I take. The kids are enjoying a play date with their friend Sierra. Luke, Ava and Sierra (even Shamrock) are snuggled up in our room enjoying Tangled. We can't get enough of that movie, it is wonderful. We will pick up Colin from school shortly, clean up and head to Napa. Max's grandma is not doing well and has come down with Pneumonia, so I will meet Max at work and we'll drive to her residence and visit with her.

Have a happy weekend!
