While Max and Colin were in Sonoma, Luke, Ava, my mom and I headed to Lowe's to get some prices and ideas to finish our garden and some landscaping this Spring. While we were there they were giving away little trees in observance of Earth Day. We gave them to Aunt Debi so she could plant them on the property. After that we went to lunch with my mom and then later headed to out to the country. The kids always enjoy their time out at my aunt's house. They check first thing to see if the horses are out in the pasture. Lucky is so friendly and sweet.
We were there to check on the new chicks that my dad had got them on Friday. The more they are handled the more friendly and used to the kids they will be.
The darkest chick is Colin's: Lucas
The lightest with white wings is Ava's: Cupcake
The Medium with dark wings is Luke's: Cooper
Luke loves his new chick and I believe Cooper is quit taken with him, he closes his every time he holds him.
Ava is a little timid, but still very much enjoys them.
Ava and I with the chicks. You can tell with all the space, greenery and trees why it is so enjoyable and fun at Aunt Debi's.
