Luke starts T-ball

Today has been off to a great start. We began our day at Arlington Park watching Luke practice t-ball.

Then we we went to the Black Bear (new in town) which we love.

The kids enjoyed a photo op with mama, papa and baby bear in front of the restaurant.

Max was all smiles with mama bear and her big blossoms! lol
Then the whole crew!
The kids start off by warming up with simple exercises and stretching.

They break off into smaller group for practice and instruction on different skills.

Max ran and worked with Shamrock. That dog has tons of energy and loves to play. Luke is left handed, the only child in his group.

He loves batting and follows directions really well and loved it. He also got to practice catching ground balls with coach and caught on quickly how to trap the ball.

Luke running the bases. I always laugh at this part. It takes a few times around the bases to figure it out at this age. The coaches told the kids to keep running after they got to first base and that they all did. They kept running right past first all the way to out field. Using the cones to mark the bases seemed to help. All the parents got a good laugh!

Later at home some light yard work was accomplished, Max had my car washed and now we are getting ready for the Out Run MS walk in Lagoon Valley. It should be a fun evening.
