Last Friday night were the Opening Ceremonies for the Jr. and Sr. T-ball League. Approximately 200+ kids and their families attended.
It starts with a pledge and national anthem. Presentations from several local city officials. In
lieu of throwing out the first pitch three city council members hit a ball off the tee and the kids and families sang a round of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." The teams and coaches were announced as they all paraded around the base line.
After the ceremony was over our city Fire Dept. donated a BBQ Hot Dog dinner to each team.
Both Colin and Luke were so excited to be there.
We really do have a great community and you can see the pride when you are at this event. All the cheering, home made banners, families and friends getting together to cheer these kids on. All the teams are so blessed to have so many wonderful people that volunteer their time to coach the kids. We look forward to the season beginning.
