Nut Tree

The last several weeks I have been taking Colin and Brooklynn to church for a bible based Creative Arts Summer Camp. The end result of all their hard work was a musical production called "Down By The Creek Bank and JUMP!" While they were at camp it gave Luke, Ava and I some alone time.
We enjoyed a yummy treat with Papa Jim at Peete's Coffee one morning and then we spent the first part of our day at the Nut Tree Family Park. They have several silly little rides for $.25 each. They also enjoy playing on the Teeter-Totter,

Wooden Horses,

a ride on the Carousel (only $2 each),

and peek-a-boo with all the animal cutouts.
(Luke as a Giraffe)

(Ava an elephant).

It was a perfectly beautiful morning with mild temperatures. We weren't in a hurry to be anywhere, it was so relaxing. I can't express the joy I get as there mom to see the smiles, hear the laughter, giggles, and silly chitter chatter. It fills my heart with pure happiness. I thank God everyday for the three precious gifts he has given me and for a husband that supports me and has afforded me the opportunity to stay at home with our kids while they are little.
