Saturday afternoon Max left for Hollister for the Wild Piglet Family Enduro. After he left the kids and I went to church for the Family Olympics Decathlon. We had a series of 12 different events that we participated in.
Ava was in a relay race to retrieve coins out of "goop." We needed exactly $1.00. She was having a blast and loved to "goop!"
Colin had to eat 5 marshmallows off a string without using his hands. He had the whole crowd cheering him on. The bill of his hat kept getting in his way until I stepped in to take it.
Luke's participation was varied due to his broken toe. He helped Ava in the coin relay race and also built a marshmallow tower.
After the Olympics were over we went inside for a potluck dinner and dessert. I love spending time with these three cuties. Watching them problem solve, navigate and negotiate how to get their tasks done was exciting. They each have such a different way of approaching new tasks. I love how different they are, but work together as a team. I was very proud of them.
