We enjoyed an awesome Father's Day Weekend with my cousins and a group from VCMC. This place was gorgeous.
The view from our trailer was Washington Creek.
The kids loved stomping through the creek, playing in the rocks and looking for the occasional water snake. Not my favorite part by any means.
Chad made his famous popcorn. The kids were mesmerized by the popcorn machine and the yummy goodness that popped out.
Colin and Madeline are all geared up for special ride with their dads.
Max and Josh took the kids on dirt bike ride in search of some old mines in the area.
After a hot day of riding, Max pumped up the raft for a little fun in the Yuba River.
Saturday night we all got together for a potluck.
Colin and Jack
Luke, Wyatt and Max
Tom started an awesome bonfire!
Colin entertained us with his break dancing. Our friend Ashley asked Ava where Colin learned how to dance. Ava told her that it comes from his heart. She is right, because it's nothing he has been taught. It's just a feeling. Her response melts my heart.
Shamrock enjoyed the dog beach and a lot of swimming.
Ava buries her feet in sand
and Luke builds sand castles. When Sunday rolled around and it was time to go, we weren't ready. No one wanted to leave. It's already on the books for next year. This time we're planning for five days, not three. It was just to short.
