Bend, Oregon at Sunriver was a total hit for our Family Reunion. This place was so serene!
We woke up our first morning to soft tapping of rain as Max was getting ready for a day at a near by golf club with some family. The kids and I took our time getting up, eating and then a little dip in the pool before it wass time to meet up with everyone at Sunriver Resort.
Our camp site. It was big, heavily wooded and was set back. We couldn't see our neighbors or here them, it was quiet. We on the other are not so quiet, so a good thing for those camping around us.
Our kids had so much fun with their cousins. Always somebody to play with and something to do. Funny thing was there was never a toy in sight. We enjoyed dinner each night with all 40+ of us. Taking turns at each house, we shared delish eats, lots of cocktails, great conversation and countless stories and memories. My cousin Charlie and Aunt Debi created a slide show with pictures of all the families dating back to pictures of my Great-Grandfather (Papa Jim) in WWII. He was a POW and some of the pictures give me goose bumps. Sharing these stories and pictures with all the kids is pretty special.
Lock 'em up and throw away the key!

Little log cabin. If the kids could have loaded this up in the truck they would have.
We also squeezed in more swimming before it was time to head home.
