We took the kids to the Nut Tree Pumpkin Patch and had a great time. It's not quit like it used to be when I grew up. I miss all the games for kids, the corn maze and scarecrows, the smell of the outdoor grill and the bakery. When we went to check out I noticed they were selling decorated Halloween cookies. They reminded of the big honey cookies the Nut Tree used to sell. The cashier said they were made using the original recipe. So, we had to have them. One bite and it reminded me of being a kid again. We each picked out our own pumpkin, saw all the scarecrows and then enjoyed the train ride and music at Harvest Days in the Family Fun Park. Our afternoon ended with a nice lunch at Amici's, it's a great new east coast pizzaria.
