I don't know a child who isn't captivated by a Dr. Seuss book. The rhyming, imaginative and silly language makes you smile from beginning to end. Go to www.seussville.com they have fun games to play, stories to create and printable activities. We spent today reading his books and doing related activities. Ever had green eggs and ham? I make an egg scramble with diced up ham... add a little green food coloring and you have a fun breakfast or why not lunch. The kids get a real kick out of it. I also scored two collectors edition Dr. Seuss books from Kohl's for my nieces. $5.00 each and 100% of the proceeds go to children's health and education initiatives. I had to go back and get a few more at that price. Not to mention a great cause.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
