A couple of weeks ago we went camping with some friends to Casini Ranch. It was such a beautiful weekend. Our campsites were right down by the river. They are the best spots. We camp there a lot and figured out what the best sites are. We reserve several weeks if not months in advanced to get what we want. It's worth it.
We got Shamrock a bigger kennel, as he is close to full size. It turned out to be the perfect choice. Plenty of room for him and a divider we can add and put Meeko on the other side. Shamrock loves it, Meeko not so much. They are both chillin' out while we finish loading the trailer. The best part is the kennel folds up flat and we took it camping.
We left on a Friday after Max got home from work, by the time we got to Casini it was almost 8:00pm. Our friends had dinner ready for us, what a treat. The kids were super hungry and so happy to be there. We woke up to absolutely beautiful day. They have a pretty duck pond up by the general store. You can by duck food in the store for .25$. The kids also brought multiple bags of day old bread Sergio had in his trailer.
After feeding the ducks, Sergio treated them to some time in the arcade. They all left with several trinkets and tattoos. We finished off our day down by the river collecting little shells (Ava's favorite) and watching Shamrock play catch and swim in the water. He would dive in swim around and then run out and roll around on the warm rocky ground. A fantastic dinner and roaring fire complete with s'mores made for nice end to a great day.
