Saying Goodbye to Grandma...

wasn't an easy thing to do, but what wonderful stories and memories were shared through out the day of her memorial services.

Kelton, Max, Molly and Lin all shared beautiful, sweet and funny stories of growing up with Grandma. I was so proud of my sweet husband. Making a speech isn't comfortable for him. He did a great job! They shared stories of her AMAZING cooking, to sewing, to the simple fact she loved and adored her family. She was a beautiful and sassy Texan at heart.

Everyone was invited to Lin and Keith's after the memorial for a wonderful spread of food, family and friends.

It was so heart warming to here all the memories being shared through out the house that afternoon.

She will be extremely missed.

All of the kids had a blast. It's rare that we are all together, so it made the day even more special.
Bittersweet as the day of the service was also Grandpa Tom's Birthday. What a special gift..to be reunited with the love of his life. They are together again with their son Tommy. We will continue to pass on the fun stories and memories we have of both Grandma and Grandpa to our kids. At the end that's what it's all about...the people you loved, the lives you touched and the memories you shared. It's not at all about the money or how many material possessions you have. They can't go with you.
