Sunshine, New Plants...

and fresh cut grass. I adore working in the garden. It is so rejuvenating.

My sweet mom, gave me all these beautiful potted plants yesterday and they make the back patio so welcoming. I just love looking at them out my kitchen window.

Strawberries and Aloe Vera (the kids call it the "Healing Plant").

More Strawberries, Thyme and Rosemary. Can't wait to cook with those. I just hope I take good care of them all. My mom has an excellent green thumb. I am striving to be that way. I find gardening to be very relaxing and the kids love to help.

Succulents! They just make me smile, especially sitting on top of my bistro table that Max and Colin got me for my first Mother's Day.

Out front my Wallflowers have gotten enormous with all of the sun lately. They are in full bloom and look amazing. People always stop to ask what they are. They make the front of the house very inviting as you enter the walk way. Now onto the garden. The kids started making a list of what veggies we want to plant this season. We have lots of plans for the yard. I just hope we have time to get it in all done.
