Saying goodbye is never easy to do. Especially when it's a man and his truck. Max bought this truck right after we met in 2002 and it was his brand new pride and joy. It no longer fits the needs of our family of five, plus two dogs. Last weekend it found a new home. He had it smogged for the new owner, washed and detailed it by hand one last time before he and Colin delivered later in the afternoon. The kids and I loaded up for Colin's baseball game and Max spent his last moments alone with his Chevy. Can you hear the sad music playing in the background. I think he feels lost without a truck right now. It kills me, but I however do not get attached to vehicles. He needed a last minute photo op with all the boys in front of the good old Chevy.
Adios!
