Melted Snowman Ornament

I am really going to try and keep the Christmas projects coming.  All I have to say is if I can make it and post it, then it must work and be easy.
These were so much fun and the end result was super cool!!  Get out your wax paper, Elmer's Glue, ribbon, buttons, mini pompoms, and felt.  Cut out felt hats and carrot noses.  Use the ribbon for a hanger and scarf.  Pompoms for eyes and mouth and buttons for the body. Skies the limit on accessories for these cute little guys. Dress'em up, bling-em out, have fun with it!  On a wax piece of paper squirt out the glue into a random blob.  Begin placing all your snowman accessories.  For the hanger I first place the ribbon in the glue then add a little more glue on top of the ribbon and cover with the hat.  It conceals the rough edges of the hanger nicely.
Now comes the hard part. PATIENCE!  The snowmen take at least 24 hours to dry.  I speed the process up a little bit with a small table top heater set on low.  You will know when it's done when the glue changes from white to opaque.  Gently hold down the wax paper and pull the ribbon hanger back slowly peeling the snowman off.  You might have to turn it over and let the under side dry for a few more hours. Then, hang on your tree and enjoy!

Just wondering...you got my brain working....but I wonder what would happen if you added glitter to the glue? I love them and will try one with glitter first and tell ya how it goes!
