Children's Day at Festival of Trees

After Colin got out of school yesterday I took the kids plus Zoe and Noelle to Children's Day.  We have attended for the past 4 years.  Several local preschools (including Luke and Ava's), Jelly Belly and Rainbow Girls provide craft activities.
The school I used to teach for, Bethany, provided their traditional "Reindeer Food" (oats and glitter) activity for the kids to make and take home.
Millennium preschool provided a bird feeder craft.  Pine cones covered in a soy butter then rolled in bird seed will make yummy treats for the birdies in our yard.
Rainbow girls had a face painting station set up.
Ava got a rainbow!
Zoe got some Holly.  She sat so still, it was like she was frozen.  She didn't move but was straining her eyes to watch what was being done.
While the girls were getting their faces painted the boys played some video games.
Luke and Ava's school provided a Fruit Loop Necklace make and take station.  That was a yummy treat.  I enjoy these activities while the kids are young because I know someday in the near future they will out grow these events.
