I just thought I would share this fun idea. It's great for preschool to early elementary age children. An excellent way to stimulate a child's creativity, movement, and large motor skills. When it's rainy and we can't get outside, I'm always looking for ways that we can have fun, get some exercise and get those sillies out. Turn on their favorite music and DANCE!
HOW TO: I purchased two packs of plastic bangle braclets (for party favors) and began collecting ribbon remenants to tie onto the bracelet. I even asked at the fabric store what they do with extra ribbon when it gets to the end of the roll. They sold bags of ribbon remenant. I attached 3 ribbons to each bracelet. If you have a preschool teacher in your life or a child care provider, this would make a great, homeade gift they are sure to love. I have received many compliments on mine and plenty of requests for their own. Ribbon wands purchased through school supply companies can be very expensive depending on how many you buy.
