The beautiful weather has had us all outdoors and enjoying the warm sun...LOVE IT! The kids enjoyed a picnic on the patio (Colin, Ava, Luke & Sierra) and crawled and walked (Oh ya, did I mention Luke and Ava are walking now) around the backyard, played on their little swing and slide. It is so fun watching them walk. Ava walks almost 100% of the time now and Luke about 50% of the time. When he realizes he's walking he gets so excited he falls down. So needless to say, I haven't posted in awhile, the kids keep me super busy during the day. We have also been working outside on building a side gate. My dad helped Max cut and weld the steel frame and then Max finished up by painting the frame black and then attaching the cedar fence boards and lock. It turned out great. Next, Max is going to stain the gate to match our front door (I'll share that later). I've been working on the side yard in my "field of weeds" in hopes that we will eventually have concrete poured. Before that happens though we have to address our back fence. It's in desperate need of being replaced, especially with this last rainy, windy storm we had, it appears to be leaning even more than before. Max is so proud of his gate he can't wait to get started on the fence. As I look toward the month of March my mind starts spinning. We have several family birthdays (including Luke and Ava's 1st Birthday on the 15th, then Max and his sister Molly's on the 28th), St. Patrick's Day, Easter...so many fun things and so little time it seems. My project for this weekend is birhtday invitations for the twins, in hopes of getting them in the mail by monday. Wish me luck with that. Every time I plan to do a project these days, I think it will take me a few hours to complete and then with all the interuptions it ends up taking days.
