My Little Picasso!

Just thought I would share a few special pictures Colin has created lately. His art went from scribbles to these little masterpieces almost over night. With Brooklynn here, who is almost 6, he has watched what she draws and it kick started his little imagination. I love children's art. The picture above is a "Self-Portrait" he drew last month and signed his name to the bottom.

This next drawing says, "Mommy and me dancing."
Lastly, with a little help he cut out a variety of shapes from foam sheets to create a house and then he used colored posicle sticks to make a picture of himself and then topped the picture off with coloring in the sun, sky, grass and the driveway. He also signed the bottom of the little masterpiece as well. I look at these and can't help but smile. I am taking the self portrait (up top) to Kinkos and having it color copied and enlarged to 16x24 and laminated then I will frame it for our family room. I plan on doing this for each of the kids first self portraits. I got the idea from a friend and then I saw it on HGTV. I'll take pictures when I have it completed.
