Colin had a Halloween party at school on Friday. I was able to volunteer that day which was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of Colin with his best buddy, Spencer. They have a lot of fun together. Spencer is the sweetest little boy and has a wonderful family. Max and I have had the chance to meet his parents. They are a wonderful couple.
Shortly after school started the children lined up a paraded around the church in their costumes. All the parents were standing around with video cameras and cameras taking pictures of all these cute kids. They stopped in the courtyard and gave us a spooky performance filled with haunting Halloween songs. Or in my child's case he much preferred to dance
and stare at his feet.
After school we headed home to relieve GG from her baby sitting duties. Aunt Debbie brought us a yummy Jack-O-Lantern pizza and a spider web pumpkin pie..Yummo! We ate dinner as soon as daddy got home and then started getting costumes back on. We had a last minute costume change for Luke. He through a fit about putting the fire engine costume on so we went for the Bob the Builder look instead. Only about 1/4 of our neighbors participated this year. Worse than last year. Maybe it's the sign of the times. No worries for these little ones, it started raining two houses into our evening, so it was a short walk. Back inside for a warm bath, a Halloween story and bed time.
