Merry Christmas To All....

The pictures are a little out of order, but you can get the idea. We had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas Eve was at our house with Max's family. It was a relaxing evening filled with yummy appetizers, desserts and egg nog, best of all our family. The kids opened all their gifts and had a great time. Luke and Ava still weren't quit sure what they're doing. They would open a present, set it down and go help someone else or just want to play. Luke loved Ava's dolls, Ava loved Colin's football, and Colin loved Luke's big tow truck. It was to cute. All in all another memorable evening.

Christmas morning we all woke up and what to our wondering eyes, but a tree full of presents for our little girl and boys. This is the best part for us parents. Just sit back and watch their expressions, total amazement, it's a precious thing. Santa brought Ava a new little kitchen, Colin got Guitar Hero (Max will have fun with this to) and Luke got a Geo Trax Train Set.

At around 10am my family came over to share in this special day. Great Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle, Cousin and my dad's girlfriend. My Aunt spoiled us all with a very yummy breakfast. We called my dad on Skype and I set up the web cam so he could watch his babies open their gifts. We were blessed to have an uninterrupted call for almost 2 hours. That was a huge treat. Then we got to talk with my sister, her husband and their two girls to round off the morning. It felt like I had everybody right there with us.

After everyone left, we got our bags packed and car loaded. We headed to Napa for a quick visit with more family and then onward to my Mom and Jeff's for Christmas dinner. She totally out did herself as usual. Turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad, and her famous Cranberry Crunch. Then to top it all off, Lemon Meringue Pie. Christmas just isn't the same (for me) with out it. The kids opened presents and played for awhile, then they had their bath and we got all snuggled in for a sleep over. What fun! It was a great evening, one I will never forget. The only thing that would have made it better was if my sister was there with her family. Hopefully next year.

and to all a good night!
