Results...

I just got home from going to the Neurologist with my mom. The doctor said that has suffered from a stroke. She will be begin taking a couple of new medications, one being an anti-seizure medication. This will be for about 6 weeks and then she will revisit her doctor. He will be closely monitoring her health. Making sure the new medications are working. If not he'll try something new. We don't know when this occurred (most likely in her sleep the doctor said) or how. How can we prevent this from happening again is what I am asking myself? My mom liked her doctor. I am feeling confident that we are on a new path, one that will lead to a healthier, pain free lifestyle for my mom. I just noticed my sister made an entry on her blog as well. She is much better at articulating the medical conditions than I (it's comforting having a nurse in the family, she knows the jargon and then can translated for us less fortunate).
