Valentine Craft

Will You 'Bee' My Valentine!

I found this project online. It was so simple and turned out so cute. Colin and I made a total of 30 for his Valentine Party at school this Friday.

1-6in. black pipe cleaner folded in half.

1-6in. black and 1-6in. yellow pipe cleaner wrapped around the first .

Leave a space at the top for the antennas and another little loop at the bottom.
Seperate the individual pieces for the antennas.

Glue two small googley eyes with Elmers glue.

Turn over and out of yellow tissue paper, cut out small wings and attach with Elmers glue.

We bought heart shaped lollipops.

You slide the lollipop into the small loop left at the bottom.

If you would like to add a note, cut out small heart shapes, write 'Mine' and who it's from.

Punch a hole in the heart.

Slide on the lollipop.

Slide on the bee.

To secure the bee I folded back the loop and pinched.

This holds the note and bee in place. They will slip off otherwise.

I had these bees finished in the time it took me to watch Desperate Housewives.
