O.k.~ so I am going back to November and catching everyone up on what we have been up to lately. We celebrated on 6th wedding anniversary on November 8th and left for Playa del Carmen, Mexico on the 9th with my dad and Lupe. The pictures are going to be out of order, I didn't have the patience to sequence them, so I'll summarize each photo underneath.

We went to Xcaret. The most beautiful and amazing wild animal park I have ever seen. Above is a picture of the family sitting on the steps of one of many Mayan ruins.

Dad and Lupe playing with Colin and Ava at the beach. Luke was upstairs with Max and I being examined by a phyician. He ended up getting Croup and Bacterial Traechitis, so scary. But he was well taken care of still ended up enjoying his vacation.

Colin, Luke and Ava playing at the beach, searching for sea shells and little fish in the tide pools. We spent many hours doing just that. Not a care in the world. Beautiful weather, warm water, family and many fun memories.

50 year sea turtles at Xcaret. So majestic and gracful. I love turtles to begin with, so this just made my trip. The kids loved them.

While at Xcaret, Max and I were lucky to swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin Encounter. That is a feeling and a memory I will never forget. I would to share the experience with the kids when they get older and are more comfortable in the water.

I said these were backwards. This is Max and I getting ready to jump into the water. I thought it would be warm like the ocean. When my big toe hit the water and it was oh, so cold I received the most loving nudge into the water from my hubby. "We don't have all day, he said." He always gets right to it. No fussing around with that one.

The family in front of a waterfall in the Butterfly Pavillion at Xcaret.

We also took a boat ride over to Cozumel for the afternoon. It was a rocky ride and a bit worried who would get sea sick, but they all did just fine. As we were headed down to the boat launch we stopped to check out "Indians" the kids said. Luke and Ava not included. As much as they were interested in their dancing and costumes, sitting back in the strollers was as close as they wanted to get.

The family again taking one of many dips in the pool at our condo. A few more steps and we were on the beach and in the ocean.

Our last night at the beach and the kids were taking advantage of last minute sea shell finds and sand castle building. We ate at so many delicous restaruants. I enjoyed an hour long massage right on the beach, can we say heaven. I could have done that every day. True indulgence. A total treat..thanks Lupe! The restaraunt next to the condo (Fusion) had the coolest dog. "Libby" just roamed around all day long. She and the kids became fast friends. Music and fire dancers on the beach at night. I could go on and on. So much fun!

Wow you guys crammed a lot into a week. I would be lucky enough to drag myself out of bed, eat fod, and lounge on the beach.
You look amazing Kristin. I love the board shorts. I noticed Ava wearing Madi's old swimsuit. She looks so cute. Made me a little heart sick because the only wore those a few times. Now both girls are huge and want me to drop them off a mile fom school. I am j/k but you know what I mean.
Thanks for sharing. I love you!

It is one of the best cities in Mexico for visitors travelling from around the world. It is gifted with beautiful locations and peaceful pure environment. I remember my last summer holidays from your images. They are terrific.
