Sickly Saga

Ever since our trip to Mexico all three of the kids have been sick. It has been exactly one month of every virus and bacterial infection I could think of. Luke had Bacterial Traecheaitis and they all had croup. Then we all got a 24 hour stomach flu. Last week Ava had an ear infection and now another one this week. Colin went in last week and had a sinus infection, medication not working, so today we start something new. Luke god bless him has bumps all over his body. A parvo virus called Fifths Disease or Slap Cheek. The bumps are not contagious thank goodness. He was only contagious when he had a fever. Now unfortunately on top of this issue he too has a sinus infection. My mom is on her way from St. Helena to help me. The kids doctor prescribed all new medications and my mom is coming to pick them up for me so I don't have to leave the house. I feel horrible because I promised the kids I would take them to the Christmas tree farm for a sleigh ride and holiday activities. I think we'll try on Monday, that way Colin can join us. Today is Colin's last day of school before Winter break. We all need lots of rest. Now Max has a cold. By the grace of god I have not gotten most of this. I did get the stomach flu and one day had a bit of a fever, but nothing came of it. Somebody upstairs knows that this mama can't afford to be ill. I am exhausted to say the least and could hibernate for the next week if someone would let me. All I want for Christmas is a healthy family.
