New Puppy!

Welcome Shamrock!

We have a new 11 week old addition to our family. We picked Shamrock up Thursday night in Galt. He is a pure bread Australian Shepherd. So sweet, smart and great with the kids. They picked him out and helped name him. He has picked up our routine pretty quickly and has had no potty accidents inside the house. Loves to ride in the car and constantly be around people. So, in this busy house that's a good thing.

Meeko is making the adjustment better than I expected. I was nervous about how he would handle having a puppy around. Snarles every once in awhile, but for the most part is comfortable to let him sit next to him. Shamrock follows Meeko outside. I think he knows Meeko is boss. The kids love their new puppy and he is theirs. We wanted a dog for the kids. Meeko doesn't care much for children and is very much attached to Max and I. Ava wasn't feeling well (ear infection 3 in less than two months) Thursday night and Shamrock jumped in her bed with Max and snuggled right in with her. That's what we wanted for them. So far all is well with our new addition. We love him and he fits right in. So stay tuned for our new adventures with Shamrock and family.
