We had a really great weekend. Not only was the weather absolutely beautiful, but it was Valentines and a three day weekend with Max. A rare occasion. I wish all weekends were three days. Everything got done, we weren't rushed, we were able to relax and have fun. Saturday the kids made Valentine cards for GG and we took them to see her at Kaiser. We wish her well and hope they spring her from the joint soon. Then for Valentines Max took the kids and I out to dinner and we went bowling. It was the first time for Luke and Ava. So much fun to watch. They loved every minute of it. I enjoy watching how they approach new experiences. So eager to take their turn, almost impossible to sit still. They put their faces in the fan to dry your hands, almost stuck their head in the hole where the balls come out. Laughed and jumped up and down when the bumpers popped up. Luke and Ava used the ramp to gain speed on the ball. We had to get help a few times retrieving the ball from the middle of the lane when it just stopped.

We finished the weekend by getting all the yard work, laundry, and grocery shopping done for the new week. Now it's time to finish our taxes. YUCK!
