Colin finished his Kindergarten year last Thursday...bittersweet. We couldn't be prouder for his accomplishment and a successful school year, but also watch it go by so quickly. I wish sometimes life could move at a slower pace. He came home with a stellar report card and a beautiful portfolio (a collection of his work this year) his teacher put together for him. That night we took out to dinner, the restaurant of his choice and then we went to Target and we surprised with getting a new scooter (sadly, he left his outside and someone stole it, how sad is that). He also came home with a certificate that he received for being the Kindergartner to raise the most money for his school's triathlon. This was such a success. A winner was chosen from each grade level. Colin was so excited, they presented him with a gift card to Target. The school's grand total earned was $25,000.00. So awesome! I am a member of the PTO and it was decided to use a large portion toward purchasing many new computers for our computer lab. So, a big thanks to everyone who supported Colin and his school. We greatly appreciated your generosity. FIRST GRADE here he comes, he can't wait.
