Kickin' it in the country...

After a morning filled with mind numbing chores around the house and a few errands to run, the kids and I headed out to my aunt and uncles in the country for the afternoon. My dad and uncle were there working on leveling the lower half of there property with the tractors. Which the minute you mention tractors to my kids they go nuttso in the kabuttso. Who needs toys when we have tractors, shovels, dirt, good food and a great family. We actually got there just in time for a wonderful lunch. My aunt is a great cook, so it was yummy!

The twins and dad heading up the hill toward the house for lunch.

Ava and Papa Jim riding on the tractor (whose nick name is 'Pops'). Ava had the biggest smile with her ears plugged. Loves to ride, doesn't love the noise.

Luke and Papa Jim finishing up a hard days work.

After a long day of bull-dozin', apple peelin', and loadin' brick pavers it was time for Popsicles!!
Oh..how sweet it is!

I was sitting inside the house and the kids were trying to sneak up outside the window and scare me with their chocolaty grins. They were so funny and crackin' me up. These are the moments I carry in my heart, make me smile, make me so proud that I am their mom. We might have our moments..oh yes we do, but the good always out ways the struggles.

OK....I love it all....accept.....DAD's hat. Now seriously. Get a cowboy hat to cover that white skin dude. If that thing was pink I would expect a girl to wear it. HEE HEE HEE! J/K! I love my Dad and his girly hat. It is a great conversational piece.
