My Folding Friend...

We start giving our kids simple chores around 4 years old, which Luke and Ava are approaching next month. But, for awhile now they all gravitate to there personal favorites. Colin loves dusting, Ava likes setting the table and Luke is my folding friend.
He asks me to show him and does a pretty great job at following my directions. He pays close attention to detail.
He loves towels the most.
First folds it in half.

Making sure the corners match up perfectly.

Then folds it in thirds.

And then half again. Stacks and delivers to their rightful locations.
Last night, I had just finished washing the boys sheets and was changing beds and came back to the family room and found him finishing up what I had left behind (without me asking). He's my little helper. Always asking "what can I do for you today mommy?" How great is that! Let's just hope this lasts through the teenage years. I fear not.
