Hand Print Snowmen Ornament

The holidays are upon us and it's time to get our craft on!  I loaded up the kiddos, hit Michael's for a few supplies and then off we went to my Aunt's house for our mini craft camp.
Our first project for the season was a Hand Print Snowmen Ornament.  We used new and reused old family ornaments to create this project.  I painted the kids hands with white acrylic paint, sat the glass ball ornament in the palm of their hand and wrapped their little fingers toward to top, pressing gently.
After we made as many as they were patient to complete we hung them to dry in the sun.
With a set of Paint Markers I painted on the Snowmen details; eyes, carrot nose, mouth, scarf, hats, and buttons.
Then again they were hung to dry.
In between painting our ornaments, Aunt Debi made everyone lunch so we took a break and the kids also went outside to enjoy the trampoline. They began the process of painting some small birdhouses that they'll finish at a later date and assemble.  I have a melted snowmen on the schedule for tomorrow.  Stay tuned for more holiday crafts.
