Luke and Ava turn 5 tomorrow, so it was their turn to bring snack to school today. All the kids sang to them and the teachers made a special crown for each.
Since their birthday is so close to St. Patrick's Day we created a very simple little treat to share with their classmates. Ziploc baggies filled with Lucky Charms and a little note that said "Happy St. Patrick's Day! Have some of me "Lucky Charms" ...they're magically delicious!"
Happy 5th Birthday Luke and Ava!
They finish class every Wednesday in the church sanctuary for a Chapel story from Pastor Mary. At the end as the children were being dismissed Luke and Ava each passed out the treat to their friends.
All their friends were so sweet, saying Thank you, wishing them a Happy Birthday and giving them hugs. They are so blessed with such a wonderful class this year. It is a great group of children and families. We tucked them into bed tonight and they were four. When we wake up they will be five. This is our last year of preschool and they are Kindergarten bound. My heart just sank a little and I got teary eyed tucking them in. In my heart they will always be my little babies. Having multiples can be challenging, but not a day has gone by that we don't thank the lord for these amazing blessings he has given us and we look forward to a lifetime of joy our kids bring.
