Luke, Ava and I joined my aunt for a field trip to Annie's Annuals in Richmond. This garden center had everything you could possibly need to plant a gorgeous garden.
I was so impressed with this Chapel fountain. It was made of 4 detached cement walls that contained plumbing inside the walls that traveled up and over the top, then back down into the basin. The water would run off all the found artifacts and objects that were plastered into the walls.
Tea cups, plates, keys, tea pots, old tiles and many more old and new objects adorned this chapel.
Luke and Ava loved the cow and pretended to milk it. We came home with more veggies and some "Drama Queen" flowers in the Papaver (Poppy) family. It's time to clear out the summer veggies and get ready for winter. My dad, aunt and uncle have been diligently working on an awesome green house, which as of this week will be finished. I will post pictures later this week, it's pretty cool. The entire family contributes in some shape or form to help create and maintain a family garden out at my aunt and uncle's property. We left Annie's full of ideas and inspiration and hungry tummies, so Auntie Debi treated us to lunch on our way home. My dad picked up Colin for me and we met them at Lowe's. Aunt Debi picked up more paint for the green house and shed. I can't wait to see the final results on Sunday. She is hosting an "Open Green House" dinner to celebrate the finished product.
