Just sitting here watching the news and remembering this day 9 years ago. Remembering where I was and watching this dreadful moment unfold on the television. I for one can't believe how long ago it was when it feels like only yesterday. I still get so tearful, with a lump in my throat and an ache in my heart for the loss our country experienced.
My heart goes out to all the family and friends that lost a loved one on that dreadful day.
I also give great thanks to the men, women and their families in our armed forces that make huge sacrifices everyday to fight for our freedom.
