Saturday night my dad and Lupe watched the kids for us while Max and I enjoyed a wonderful evening out. We (and several others) started the party off at our friend Sergio's house for drinks and then later joined Byron and Pam (Max's boss and wife) and the rest of the crew at Restaurante Allegria in downtown Napa for a post Holiday gathering. The food was fantastic. We had the best Napa Cabbage Salad, followed by a Petite Filet Mignon and then a chocolate brownie and vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. It was relaxing and great fun. After dinner several of us strolled down Main St. to the new Riverfront and enjoyed cocktails at the new Morimoto restaurant (from Iron chef Masaharu Morimoto). I loved the modern decor of this place and big overstuffed couches and chairs in the lounge. The place was packed.
We headed back to pick up the kids. Papa and Lupe treated them to McDonald's for dinner and then an evening filled with movies and games. They had a great time!

I love this picture. You guys look so happy. Is the camera- man/woman flashing you or something? Or did your funny hubby whisper something into your ear?
Neither we both had several drinks under our belts...feeling a little frisky :-)
