Scientopia

I took Colin, Luke and Zoe to Scientopia the other day.  Ava was spending a very special few days with her Mimi having "girlie time."
We had such a fun time exploring all this place had to offer.
Luke loved all the construction gear and tools.
He measured, hammered and drilled everything in sight.
Colin was right there with him.  Pretending to build and fix houses.  They enjoyed the art corner, rubber mulch digging area, magnetic darts, and loved the shadow box.
Zoe enjoyed playing in the outdoor house (which I had to take a picture of because I'd like to build one in our play yard this Spring).
She made the cutest little friend.  They pushed the grocery carts around shopping at the fruit stand, selling and serving all their goodies.
While she was downstairs the boys had the house under construction upstairs.  My dad stopped by and enjoyed hanging out with the kids and I for awhile.  After a bit, we joined him and Lupe for lunch.  The kids wanted to go back and enjoy more time at Scientopia.  When you pay to get in it's for the whole day, so they let you come and go throughout the day.  They also don't charge the adults.  Very cool!  They have a gift shop with tons of fun projects and science activities.  They also allowed us to bring in our own snacks and they have a little area to eat.  It will be fun to visit again in the Spring when it's warmer and they have more outdoor activities to enjoy.  They had veggie gardens, worm composting, diggers and the outdoor playhouse.  It must have been a successful field trip because they didn't want to leave and they never got bored.
